'Harry Moss' CB Radio - Microphone Wiring

Hi, I recently picked up a used Harry Moss CB radio - it did come with
a microphone but it has a bad connection and needs to be held in a
certain position for the PTT button to work.

My problem is that I don't know what kind of plug it uses for the
microphone, other than that it's a 4-pin one.
I've looked online and found that "apparently" the Harry Moss radio
uses the same microphone connector as a Midland 2001 (which I have,
along with a working mic.); but when connecting the mic to the Harry
Moss radio, it's is as though I have no mic connected at all (it stays
pretty much muted.)

Also, if I hold the PTT button on the microphone, the radio's audio
can be heard from the mic. itself, but it does not enter transmit
mode.

Has anybody used a Harry Moss radio before? Could someone point me in
the right direction as to microphones?

Thanks

IIRC, the Harry Moss CB used the Uniden wiring - look for a microphone
wired for Uniden, Audioline or President (4 pin).

its supposed to be as 1st post says, the same as the midland. but a lot of ppl converted/rewired the mic socket inside the moss to the more common uniden format.
